Brick distributors came into existence because the demand for product variety required sellers who would independently access the manufacturing sector.

In 1955, Donald P. Litz and John F. Leonard left the United Clay and Supply Company and formed the L&L Supply Corporation. They set course on a successful growth path which continues with the Litz family today.

L&L Supply Corporation is the region's largest, and most established brick supplier, supplying brick from Washington, DC north to Harrisburg, PA, and as far east as the Eastern Shore west to Frederick.
